Our History
We're the Baschshis! The loving parents who have been married for 30+ years, and their children — Omar and Zarlasht. Baba Nazir and Khala Zarin are both retired, after living 30+ years in the United States. Both immigrated from Afghanistan in the early 1980s–early 1990s. Omar and Zarlasht were born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, CA, and both hold master's degrees in engineering.
What started as a hobby in 2020 slowly turned into a passion and desire to share our food and culture. With the start of our business in 2022, we hope our story inspires you — and that you choose us for your catering and foodie needs.

Our mother, and resident culinary expert. Khala Zarin was born and raised in Kandahar, Afghanistan. She enjoys food, quality time and laughs.

Omar, our business logistics and technical lead. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA — an R&D engineer in the medical device space by day and a passionately curious life-goer by night.
